February 2017

2014

DCW officially becomes a full-service media buying agency, adding a cutting-edge, in-house digital department to its ranks.

2008

Due to excessive growth, DCW expands its operations by relocating from Huntington, New York to larger offices in Ronkonkoma, New York.

2004

DCW is once again in the forefront of new advertising clients by launching the first advertising campaign for online gambling with their client ‘Party Poker’.

2001

DCW’s first super bowl buy for Delta Airlines. The multimillion dollar buy incorporates a blend of trade and dollars. The buy helped launch Delta’s new first class seating and new destinations throughout Europe.

2000

Continuous expansion, moves DCW to new offices in Huntington, New York.

1998

DCW becomes the buying service for P.C. Richard & Son, one of the Northeast’s largest retailers; still working with them today.

1992

DCW celebrates cracking the eight figure annual billing ceiling.

1990

DCW moves its expanding offices out of NYC and into the North Shore Towers on Long Island.

1985

DCW enters into a new phase of its career by opening up a media buying division.

1983

Ken Bove, Jr. joins DCW.

1979

DCW is the agency chosen to represent St. John’s University, on Long Island; the beginning of a 20+ year relationship.

1978

DCW assists with the launch of Entertainment Sports Programming Network (known today as ESPN) by entering into a multi-million dollar trade contract.

1973

Ken Bove, Sr., a successful entrepreneur, who later embarked on a career at NBC Radio, acquires an agency called Dougherty, Clifford and Wadsworth and immediately transforms it into an innovative industry leader in media.
